World Poker Tour, LLC is a media and entertainment

television programming and live events, as well as the licensing

our highly successful World Poker Tour brand.
Founded in February 2002, World Poker Tour (WPT) is a joint
venture between WPT CEO Steven Lipscomb, an award winning television
creator and filmmaker, and Lakes Entertainment, Inc., whose founder
and CEO, Lyle Berman, is both a "Hall of Fame" poker player
and a world-class businessman. The executive team includes a former
Disney executive, a seasoned Production executive, Emmy-award winning
set designer and musician plus an award-winning sound, editing,
and lighting team. Lakes Entertainment, Inc. owns approximately
80% of WPT and its common shares are traded on the Nasdaq National
Market under the trading symbol "LACO."
Based in Los Angeles, CA, WPT revolutionized televised poker
with its patent-pending WPT Cams, tiny cameras embedded in the poker
table that reveal the players' hole cards, making viewers feel like
they are in the seats making million dollar decisions. Unlike most
sports, poker is a game anyone can play and on any given day, the

World Poker Tour, LLC created and produced the World Poker Tour,
airing Wednesday nights at 9pm on Travel Channel. WPT consists of
14 high stakes poker tournaments filmed at glamorous locations throughout
the world, including Bellagio, Las Vegas, Foxwoods Resort Casino
in Mashantucket, CT, Aviation Club de France in Paris, France, and
Borgata, the elegant new casino in Atlantic City. Building on the
success in its first season, WPT expanded its roster from 15 episodes
in season one to 21 episodes in season two, including the ratings
success, WPT: Ladies' Night. A new series of specials, WPT: Hollywood
Home Games, brings celebrities center stage at the WPT final table
where they battle to win for their charities and for a coveted seat
in the WPT Championship.
In addition, WPT launched a corporate sponsorship program for
its television show and live events, offers WPT branded consumer
products and home entertainment via its licensing program, and expanded
distribution to international markets.
